My favorite Childhood memories were when my Grandmother would come to visit our family and cook in the kitchen. What made it so special was the time I got to spend with Grandma and Mom in our kitchen. I especially enjoyed helping to prepare meals. The smell of Chicken and Dumplings reminds me of love. I seem to be the most connected to that memory. It instantly gives me the feeling of comfort and wellness like nothing else. Like many women of her generation her meals brought our family together and as young children we learned to how important it is to pass that love down.
